Bomb Threat Reported at Clarion Area High School

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Sources have confirmed a bomb threat was made at Clarion Area High School late this afternoon.

Sources close to the situation say that emergency personnel were called to the scene late Monday afternoon for a reported bomb threat.

Law enforcement remained on the scene for several hours to search the premises.

Students and faculty who were in the building for after-school activities were evacuated and sent home.

As of 9:00 p.m., there was no indication that the bomb threat was credible; however, calls to Clarion Borough Police were not immediately returned.

No further details are available at this time.
