Patricia A. Braden, 69, of Franklin passed away at 9:50 p.m. on October 16th, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Born May 18, 1945 in Franklin, Patricia was the daughter of Donald P. and Ruth E. (Winters) Lawson whom preceded her in death. She was married October 6th, 1962 to Robert H. Braden, and he survives.
Patricia retired from K-Mart in 2008, where she had been employed as a Department Head in the Health and Beauty Section. She had also worked in earlier years in the Housekeeping Department at Franklin Hospital.
Patricia enjoyed Saturday Night bluegrass picking at her home, listening to country music, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Sheila D. Braden and her companion, Brett Rick, of Franklin, Lori R. Snyder, and her companion, Bill Attleberger, of Oil City, and Shani R. Brown and her husband, Donald, of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sisters, Donna R. Malone of Polk and Betty Lou Spillman of Proctorville, Ohio.
Patricia is additionally survived by her 7 grandchildren, Becky Leasure of Rochester, PA, Robert and Traci Straw of Franklin, Jesse Straw of Zephyr Hills, Florida, and Angela and Evan Snyder, and Brandon Brown,, all of Franklin.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Braden Straw, and Bently Snyder, all of Franklin.
Family and friends of Patricia will be received from 9 to 11 am, Tuesday, October 21st at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin.
Funeral services will also be held at 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Linda Deeter, Pastor of the Caring Place officiating. Interment will be in held at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Cranberry.
