Police Calls: Retail Thefts in Clarion, Monroe Townships

CLARION COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say two retail thefts occurred on October 19.

– Around 1:00 p.m. on October 19, a retail theft occurred at Comet, in Clarion Township.

Police say a known individual concealed $34.48 worth of items and attempted to leave the retail establishment without paying.

The name of the suspect was not released.

No other information was provided.

– Around 1:54 p.m. on October 19, a retail theft occurred at WalMart, in Monroe Township.

Police say 19-year-old Kristina Miller, of Philadelphia, allegedly attempted to carry away $62.44 worth of merchandise without paying.

Charges were filed at District Court 18-3-02.
