Robert Edward Pennington, 40, of Kittanning, formerly of Parker, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1974, in Grove City, a son of George E. Pennington, of Parker, and the late Bonnie R. (Wike) Pennington, who died Sept. 10, 2013. He previously worked for Fuchs Lubricant in Emlenton for more than 18 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, computers and drawing.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife of 12 years, Joyce (Evans) Pennington; sisters, Lisa (Zane) Thompson, of Parker, and Laura Pennington, of Parker; brother, Walter R. (Marci) Pennington, of Parker; sisters-in-law, Annette (Joel) Stivason, of Rural Valley, and Cindy (John) Lafave, of Wixom, Mich.; nieces, Amanda and Lydia Thompson and Shelby Lafave; nephew, Cole Stivason; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother in infancy and his mother and father-in-law, John and Connie Evans.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning, and from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
