TIONESTA, Pa. — The North Clarion Girls Cross Country Team became District 9 Champions over the weekend by remaining undefeated at the District 9 Meet held on October 25 in Ridgway, Elk County.

The last time the school achieved District Champion status in Girls Cross County was in 1996 — before the current team members were even born.

The current team claimed the title by winning the K.S.A.C. Invitational and defeating Elk County Catholic at the District 9 meet held on Saturday.
