Try this sweet, easy-to-make dessert.
Grandma Wagner’s Cherry Delight
• 2 pkgs. of graham crackers — crushed
• ½ lb. butter — melted
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 large package of Dream Whip
• 2 small (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 2 cans of cherry pie filling
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make the crust, combine crushed graham crackers, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter and spread in a 9×13 inch pan. Bake for 5 minutes.
- Prepare Dream Whip according to directions on box; whip until stiff. Then add cream cheese and 2/3 cup sugar and mix until cream cheese is blended well. Spread the mixture over the crust. Add cherries on top and chill before serving.
Variation: use blueberry or pineapple pie filling
