Driver Injured in One-Car Crash on Route 208

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 1:29 a.m. on November 2, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 208, 509 feet east of Township Route 658, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say 21-year-old Ryan M. Roddy, of Shippenville, was traveling east on SR 208, and his 2012 Toyota Camry exited the south side of the roadway.

The car impacted mailboxes, sheared off a utility pole, and came to rest on the eastbound lane of SR 208.

Roddy suffered moderate injuries, and Knox Ambulance transported him to Clarion Hospital.

He was not using a seat belt.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
