andres-photoMrs. Regina M. Andres, 91, formerly of 62 N. Dillon Dr., Titusville passed away at 10:50 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at the Golden LivingCenter.

She had been a resident there for the past few days.

Mrs. Andres was born on May 22, 1923, in Oil City to the late Marion and Julia Pencka Pilewski.

She was a graduate of Oil City High School, class of 1941.

Mrs. Andres has been a member of St. Titus Church since 1953, when she moved here with her husband. During those years she was also a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.

She enjoyed taking care of her home, working the yard, flower gardening and traveling with her husband and son.

Mrs. Andres is survived by her son, Christopher M. Andres of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Lucille Szalewics of Seneca; close friend, Eva Carlson of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Andres who passed away in 2006; two brothers, Leon and Joseph Pilewski; and four sisters, Sophie Browsky, Mary Lenar, Jane Fedorek and Sister Mary Julianne Pilewski.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM from St. Titus Church on Wednesday with Fr. Walter E. Packard, pastor of the Catholic Community of Titusville, as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Catharine’s Cemetery.
