Eva P. Erickson, 98 of McMurray, formerly of Oil City, PA. died on November 4, 2014.

She was born on July 6, 1916, a daughter Ernest A. and Ella Christine Peterson.

After graduating from Oil City High School in 1934 she worked for Dr. Seiple in Oil City until she joined the Coast Guard, Spars, during World War II.

After basic training in Palm Beach Florida she was stationed in Philadelphia PA. On October 26, 1946 she married Lennart U. Erickson who died on September 21, 2001.

Surviving are a daughter Ella E. Spagnolo, a grandson Lennart Aaron Spagnolo, both of McMurray, a sister Mary Ella Rudolph of Meadville formely of Oil City, and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Charles, Ed, and Frank Peterson, and a sister Charlotte P. Willamson.

Friends received will be at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh PA 15236 on Thursday from 6-8, Friday 2-4 and 6-8 and the funeral service will be Saturday at 10am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
