Richard E. “Dick” Reichart

Richard E. ReichartRichard E. “Dick” Reichart, 71, of Greenville, formerly of Sligo, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Sugar Creek Station in Franklin.

Born on November 12, 1942 in Callensburg; he was the son of Max Hawk and Mary Irene Taylor Reichart.

Dick was previously a truck driver and also worked at C & K Coal Company. He then retired from the Operating Engineers Local 66.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Dick was a member of the Lions Club.

He loved animals and enjoyed watching wildlife. He also enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Priester and her husband, Don, of Rimersburg; and five grandchildren, Doni, Delani, and Derek Priester, and Benton and Maci Reichart, all of Clarion.

Also surviving are a brother, Larry “Max” Reichart and his wife, Trudy, of Clarion; and a sister, Kathy Guiher and her husband, Bill, of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Rich Reichart.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Burns Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., 434 Main Street, Rimersburg.

Interment will be held in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
