Police Release Details on Clarion Man — Victim of Scam

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a Clarion man was the victim of an email scam that occurred in Clarion, Clarion Township.

According to police, on October 31, a known 56-year-old Clarion man received a check and an email asking him to deposit a money gram to a location out of state.

The victim discovered that the check was part of a scam.

No other information was provided.
