33-year-old Man Flown to Pittsburgh Hospital Following Farmington Twp. ATV Rollover

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police say a 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a Farmington Township ATV accident last night.

Marienville-based State Police say around 7:30 p.m., 33-year-old Steven M. Koehler, of Beaver Falls, was traveling north on Maple Drive and for unknown reasons lost control of his 2003 Suzuki Vinson.

Police say Koehler’s ATV subsequently rolled over on the left side of the roadway.

Koehler was thrown from the ATV and suffered a major head injury, according to police.

He was flown to UPMC Presbyterian via STAT MedEvac.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.

Shippenville-Elk Ambulance and Farmington Township VFD assisted at the scene.
