BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 5:14 a.m. on November 8, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 338, 230 feet north of Alt Lane, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 24-year-old Natashia R. McMunn, of Shippenville, was traveling west on SR 338 and swerved to avoid striking a deer on the roadway.

Her 2001 Plymouth Neon left the roadway on the north side, rolled onto its side, and slid into a tree, police say.

McMunn was using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

Knox Ambulance assisted at the scene.

McMunn was charged with a traffic violation.
