OI2087205917_YoungquistDennis A. Youngquist, 70, of Polk, PA, and formerly of Warren, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014.

Dennis was born May 1, 1944, in Warren, PA, the son of Robert Youngquist and the late Lorraine Johnson Youngquist. Dennis will always be remembered for his love of life. He was very social and loved to spend time with his family. For many years, Dennis had played the role of Santa Claus in the Franklin Christmas parade. He also enjoyed participating in Camp Lend A Hand and doing activities and the Franklin Senior Center. He was an avid Pittsburgh fan, and especially loved the Pirates and Steelers.

He is survived by his father, Robert Youngquist, of Youngsville, PA; one brother, David A. Youngquist, Sr., and wife, Linda, Clarendon, PA; one niece, Laurie Maxwell, and husband, Mike, also of Clarendon, PA; one nephew, David Youngquist, Jr., Erie, PA; two great-nieces, Mikayla Maxwell and Randi Youngqist; two great-nephews, Jacob Maxwell and David Youngquist, III; and four great-great-nieces and nephews, Jackson Maxwell, Tyler Youngquist, Riely Cronin and Collin Cronin. He is also survived by his very close friend, Floyd, and many caregivers and friends that he made at Polk.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Eloise Lobdell; his cousin, Sandy Brian, whom he talked of often; and his great-nephew.

No public calling hours or a service will be observed. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
