BEIJING, China — A Beijing restaurant has opened a museum dedicated to roast — or peking — duck as a celebration of the 150-year-old eatery’s signature dish.
The seven story Quanjude restaurant, which officials said serves up to 2,000 roast ducks per day, has dedicated one of its floors to a roast duck museum featuring pictures of world leaders including Chinese leader Mao Zedong, U.S. President Richard Nixon and late North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il sitting down for roast duck dinners.
