Rimersburg Teen Injured After Car Slams into Utility Pole

MADISON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – An 18-year-old Rimersburg woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Lawsonham Road last night.

Clarion-based State Police say 18-year-old Cheyenne E. Everett was traveling north on Lawsonham Road around 5:52 p.m. when her vehicle exited the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Everett’s 2012 Jeep Liberty continued north before colliding with two mailboxes and several landscaping rocks. After impact, Everett’s vehicle came to a final rest against landscaping bushes in a private lawn.

She was transported to Clarion Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police say Everett was cited with a lane violation.

Cpl. Yoder, Rimersburg VFD, Southern Clarion County Ambulance, and Pollock’s Towing assisted at the scene.
