Kerry Nathan Cochran, a resident of Callensburg, served in the United States Marine Corps for six years between 1972 and 1978.

Joined the service in:   August of 1972

Years of Service:  6 years

Previous Duty Stations: Paris Island South Carolina for for basic training; Camp Pendleton in California for M.O.S. artillery training; Fort Seal Oklahoma for advanced training in surveying. Two tours to Puerto Rico and two tours to Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

Family Life?
Happily married to Sharon Cochran. Together Kerry and Sharon have two daughters — Misty and Janie — and four grandchildren — Ashton, Payton, Drake, and Trenton.

Kerry still proudly wears a U.S. Marine Corps symbol daily.
