Robert James Struthers, 65, of Seneca, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

Born August 19, 1949 in Oil City, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Struthers.

Robert graduated from Oil City High School and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa OK.

He was a licensed pilot and air traffic control specialist in Lansing MI and Cleveland OH.

Robert move back to the Oil City area to care for his aging parents and worked for Hards Construction, American Merchandising and the PA LCB.

He was a former member of the PNA Club.

Robert was also a member of the Keystone Goldwings until health issues forced him to park his bike.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Facebook and spending time with his family.

On April 19, 2003, he married the former Wendy Knapp, who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Struthers and wife Chrystal of Geneva IL, and Bryan Struthers and wife Vanessa of Andover KS; four grandchildren, Aidan, Brayden, Trevor ad Lillian; one sister, Barb Swasta and husband Bob; his first wife, Janet Struthers, the mother of his children; and four step children and sixteen step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, JoAnn Urbieta.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 am Wednesday with the Rev. Jo-Ann Mlakar, officiating.

Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Seneca United Methodist Church.
