INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Garnering a second seed in the Atlantic Region, the Clarion University women’s volleyball team earned it sixth straight NCAA Division II playoff berth Sunday.

“I am really exited for the girls,” Clarion’s eighth-year head coach Jennifer Mills, who has won the last two PSAC West Coach of the Year awards, said. “I think the girls are really ready.”

Clarion, which won the Atlantic Region title in 2010 for the only time in school history, is led by the PSAC West Athlete of the Year, Laura Subject, the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year Morgan Seybold, and the PSAC West Rookie of the Year Gabrielle Olson.

“It’s so exciting,” Subject said. “We were all watching as a team. It’s just nice to see our hard work throughout the season has paid off.”
