William J. Konkle, 84, of 313 Main Street, Tidioute, PA died Tuesday November 18, 2014 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

He was born May 10, 1930 in Tidioute, a son of the late George and Alice McClelland Konkle and had lived in Tidioute his whole life.

He had served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, and was a member of the Pequignot/Yeager VFW Post 8803 of Tidioute, serving as Sr. Vice Commander and the Tidioute American Legion. He had attended the Tidioute High School and was a member of the Tidioute Presbyterian Church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by James M. Higgins Funeral Home in Tidioute.
