Clarion County A.B.A.T.E. Accepting Donations for Annual Toy Drive Through December 6

CLARION, Pa. — Members of A.B.A.T.E. (Alliance of Bikers Aimed Towards Education) of Clarion County will be at the K-Mart entrance of the Clarion Mall on Saturday, November 22, from Noon to 8:00 p.m. to collect items for their annual Christmas Toy Drive.

Members will be collecting new unwrapped toys, gift cards, and monetary donations for the toy drive.

The drive is being held in conjunction with Charitable Deeds and Services of Knox to assist those in need this holiday season.

In addition to the collection on November 22, donations may also be made at the following area businesses through December 6:

Clarion Mall Kmart entrance — Clarion
Toby Hill Bar and Grill — Clarion
Studio XIII Tattoo and Body Piercing — Clarion
Brenda’s Stitch N Stuff — Strattanville
Brookville Firemen’s Club — Brookville
Good Tire Service — Knox
Bikers Cave — Cranberry
Sportsman’s Paradise — Crown
Desperados — New Bethlehem

Those interested in making a monetary donation can make checks payable to “Clarion County A.B.A.T.E.”. Checks can be mailed to 798 Knight Town Road, Shippenville, PA 16254.

Both A.B.A.T.E of Clarion County and Charitable Deeds and Services are volunteer-only organizations with zero money going to administrative and overhead costs. One hundred percent of charitable donations go to those in need in the local area.

A.B.A.T.E. of Clarion County asks that donations be received no later than December 6.

Families in need can sign up on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. by stopping in at the Drop-in Center, 1099 East Main Street, Clarion, PA 16214 or by calling Carla at 814-297-8429.
