BARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred on River Road, in Barnett Township, Forest County.

Police say 67-year-old Herman J. Rush, of Brookville, was traveling east on River Road and lost control of his 2004 Ford Ranger on the icy roadway.

Rush’s vehicle traveled off the north side of River Road impacting an embankment with the right front, then rolled over coming to a rest on its wheels facing north.

Rush was taken to Brookville Hospital via a personal vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.

He was not using a seat belt.
