FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 66, 886 feet west of Hollow Lane, in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

Police say 63-year-old Norman F. Wolbert, of Lucinda, was traveling south on SR 66 and lost control of his 2000 Ford Ranger while rounding a right curve due to sudden icing on the roadway, according to police.

His vehicle spun crossing the roadway exiting on the east side and impacting an embankment. It then rolled onto its roof coming to rest facing north, police say.

Wolbert was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department and Snyder’s Auto Body Towing assisted at the scene.
