Cheryl L. Giles, 57, of Franklin, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at her son’s home in Hydetown following an extended illness.

Cheryl was born on February 16, 1957 in Titusville, a daughter of Leon Steadman and the late Janet Dailey Steadman. She was married to Ralph Giles who preceded her in death in February of 2012.

Cheryl had been employed most recently at SFPC (Conair) in Franklin for a number of years. She had previously been employed at the former A Plus Mini Mart and Farley’s Industrial Laundry, both in Titusville.

Cheryl enjoyed going to the casino; spending time with her family; going out to eat; and traveling.

She is survived by her father of Hydetown; a son, Jeff Hanlon and wife Ashley of Hydetown; five grandchildren, Hunter, Cole, Taylor, Brock, and Piper; three brothers, Terry Steadman and Shane Steadman, both of Hydetown, and Daryl Steadman of Spartansburg; two sisters, Karen Moyer and husband James of Cherrytree and Glenda Price and husband Jeff of Hydetown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cortney Hanlon in 1999.

No public calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend a memorial service on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church 2 McKinney Rd. Titusville, PA with Pastor Phil Taylor officiating.

Interment will be in St. Catharines Cemetery.
