ASHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle crash occurred November 22 at approximately 11:15 a.m., on Bus Mong Road, in Ashland Township, Clarion County.

Police say the crash occurred as the driver of a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling south on Bus Mong Road.

The driver of the pickup went around a mail truck that was stuck along the right shoulder of the road.

As the driver began to move back to the right side of the road, a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado crested the top of a hill, approximately 100 feet south of the F-150’s position.

According to police, the driver of the Silverado hit his brakes, lost control of the vehicle, and began to spin.

The Silverado struck the front end of the F-150 with its driver side rear wheel area.

Both vehicles then pulled off of the roadway, police say.

The names of the drivers were not released.
