Estimated Damage $150K in Millcreek Twp. Fire; Family of Four Displaced

MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities in Clarion say the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that destroyed a home on yesterday in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a house fire was discovered at 10:30 a.m. at a one-story residence on Summerville Drive.

By the time firefighters arrived on scene, the home had already been engulfed by the fire.

Police say the home was a total loss and damages are estimated at $150,000.

The homeowner and her three children — ages 11, 13, and 16 — were not home at the time of the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The fire is currently under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit.
