TIONESTA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a two-vehicle collision occurred on November 22 at 11:43 a.m. on State Route 62 in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

Police say the crash occurred as John L. Miller, IV, 47, of Clinton, was traveling northbound on SR 62 in a 2004 Ford F-250.

According to police, Miller lost control of his vehicle due to slippery road conditions and traveled off the western side of the roadway.

Miller’s vehicle then impacted the driver’s side door of a 2004 Nissan Xterra driven by Garrett R. King, 29, of Allison Park.

King’s vehicle was legally parked in a driveway situated west of SR 62 at the time of impact.

After striking King’s vehicle, Miller’s Ford F-250 traveled approximately 30 feet north while spinning counterclockwise. The vehicle came to a final rest approximately three feet west of the roadway facing south.

King’s vehicle traveled approximately six feet in a northern direction while spinning clockwise after being struck.

Both Miller and his passenger — Charles R. Bloomer, 60, of Endeavor — were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision and were not injured.

King was also wearing a seat belt and was uninjured in the crash.

Miller’s vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

King’s vehicle sustained severe damage to both driver’s side doors and was towed from the scene by Frank’s Auto.
