Daryl Robert Shaw, 61, of 105 ½ Wilson Ave., Oil City, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Marquette House of Meadville.

Born January 17, 1953 in Lockport, NY, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Anna Buvoltz Shaw.

Mr. Shaw was a boiler maker and a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Pittsburgh Local 363.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Oil City. He loved to play softball and enjoyed gardening and reading western novels.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Ann Ocken and husband Andrew and Tracy L. Shaw, all of Elburn, IL; and 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Ocken and Matthew Ocken.

A memorial service will be held at the Morrison Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 6, 2014 with Rev. Alberta Smith, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Marquette House of Meadville, 13465 Wayland Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.
