James F. Welch, age 39, of Summit Twp., died unexpectedly at UPMC Hamot, Friday, November 28, 2014.
Born in Warren, Pa., October 30, 1975, he was a son of Linda L. (Shreve) Welch and the late James P. Welch.James spent the past several years taking care of both of his parents, until his father’s passing in 2013. He was currently taking care of his mother. He was an avid NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Lydia G. Welch, of Erie; his sister, Franny Welch, of Erie; an aunt, Sandra Pickens, of Erie; and an uncle, Roger Shreve, wife Dotty, of Neiltown, Pa.

Friends are invited to attend a combined memorial service for James F. Welch and his father, James P. Welch, Saturday, December 6th at 2 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd.
