Clarion University Department of Physics will host a “Season of Light” event December 5 and December 12 in Peirce Planetarium in the Grunewald Center for Science and Technology.
The event will be held at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The event is a festive, 40-minute planetarium program that traces the development of many of the world’s most enduring holiday customs, from the burning Yule log, sparkling Christmas tree lights, and candles in windows, to the lighting of luminaries in the American Southwest and the tradition of the Hanukkah Menorah.
