Elizabeth Anne ”Betty” Adams, 81, of Seneca, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Born December 4, 1933 in Johnsonburg, she was a daughter of the late Alton R. and Margaret WykoffLee.

Mrs. Adams was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and Seneca.

She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1951.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she attended the United Methodist church in Johnsonburg. She enjoyed going to casinos and horse racing tracks, bowling, and playing bingo at many area places.

She enjoyed dining at local restaurants and long trips on country roads.

Betty was married February 7, 1959 to William F. Adams, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2004.

Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Adams and wife Janice of Raleigh NC, and William A. Adams of Seneca; a granddaughter, Anna M. Adams of Raleigh NC; two cousins, Sandy Carpin and Sarah Felbauer; and a sister-in-law, Joanie Lee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother, James Lee.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the United Way of Venango County.
