Crews Respond to Report of Possible Structure Fire at STAT MedEvac Garage

MONROE TWP., Pa. – Emergency crews were dispatched to One Hospital Drive around 8:20 am today after workers observed smoke coming from the Stat MedEvac Garage at the Clarion Hospital.

Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1 was subsequently dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, it was found that there were no flames.

After further investigation, it was found that an outside HVAC unit had malfunctioned causing smoke to filter through the building.

The scene was cleared shortly before 9:00 am. Repairs to the unit are underway, according to a release issued by the Clarion Hospital.

No injuries were reported.
