Police Release Details on Debit Card Fraud in Washington Township

FRYBURG, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say four incidents of debit card fraud occurred in Washington Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the incidents occurred on November 28 and 29 as a known 28-year-old male suspect, of Tionesta, unlawfully used a 44-year-old Fryburg woman’s debit card.

Police say the suspect made two fraudulent withdrawals on November 28 and two more fraudulent withdrawals on November 29.

The fraudulent withdrawals totaled $340.00.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

The name of the suspect was not released.
