Snowy Roads to Blame for Soapfat Road Crash

ELK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Two people escaped injury in a two-car crash on Soapfat Road in Elk Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say the accident occurred on December 11 around 4:21 p.m. when Pamela McHenry, 43, of Shippenville, lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway.

Police say McHenry was attempting to stop at a stop sign, but slowly slid in front of a vehicle operated by Arthur J. Kaye, 39, of Cranberry.

Kaye attempted d to stop, but could not due to the roadway conditions.

No injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Mark’s Auto.
