Member_141249[1]Phillip H. Webb, age 81, of Knox, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday afternoon, December 13, 2014.

Born March 31, 1933 in Shippenville, he was a son of the late Harold and Thelma Anderson Webb.

He married the former Allie Wilson on June 14, 1952 in a ceremony performed by Reverend Dusch at the Shippenville United Methodist Church.

Phillip was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He had a long career in the glass making industry, working for Knox Glass/Anchor Glass and retiring as the plant manager in 1988.

He was a member of the Berlin Bowser American Legion Post #720 of Knox, the Parker City Allegheny Valley Masonic Lodge #521 and was also a member of the Salem Reformed United Church of Christ in Lamartine. He
previously served as a school board member for the Keystone School District.

Upon retiring, Phillip enjoyed woodworking and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include his wife, Allie and four daughters: Roxanne Denise Vincent and husband, Robert, of Chateaugay, New York; Vannesse Rusnak and husband, George, of Lamartine; Chris Weckerly and husband, Junior, of Cranberry and Leslie Sorensen and husband, Cecil, of Thurston, Nebraska; two granddaughters: Nicole and Jennifer; two grandsons: Caleb and Zachary; three step grandsons: Eric, Jake and Casey; three great grandsons: Noah, Wyatt and Boone; two step great grandsons: Eric Jr. and Dmitri and a step great granddaughter, Charlie.

Phillip is also survived by three brothers: Richard Webb and wife, Maxine, of Marble; Gail Webb and wife, Paulette, of Anderson, Indiana and John Webb and wife, Phid, of Erie and one sister, Ruth Aaron of Hubbard, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph and a sister, Sally.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

Military honors will be accorded by the Berlin Bowser American Legion Post #720 at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will follow in the funeral home with the Reverend Chris Lewis officiating over the service.

Interment will take place in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Shippenville.
