Ruth W. Armitage, 85, of Shippenville passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at her home.

She was born in Kipling Saskatchewan, Canada on September, 30, 1929 to the late John and Mary Zaiser Hireskorn.

Ruth was married to William Armitage on April 7, 1967, who preceded her in death.

She was a nurse for 30 years, a homemaker, and a partner with her husband in R+B Heating and A/C of Shippenville.

Ruth enjoyed reading the bible and talking about her faith with people.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Ann Morgan and husband Russell of Vancouver, Washington, and Donna Ruth Horton and husband Boyd of Shippenville, four grandchildren, Melissa and James Fox of Tyler, Texas, Kevin and Regina Himes of Strattanville, Sarah and Brad Wheeler of Pittsburgh, and Loureen and Gary Owens of Seattle, Washington, and five great grandchildren.

Ruth was also survived by two sisters, Irean Nerenhausen and husband Don of Oconto, Wisconsin, and Arline Niklaj of Kelowna, British Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Esther Brooks and Helen Eifert.

Time and place of services will be announced at a later date.

Internment will take place in the Apollo Cemetery.
