FALLS CREEK, Pa. (EYT) — Dubois-based State Police say two teens have been arrested in connection with a recent attempted robbery in Falls Creek Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say around 11:15 p.m. on December 14, a known Caucasian female knocked on the door of a residence in Falls Creek Borough and asked to use a phone to call someone for a ride.

The victims, a known male, a known female, and a 17-year-old male juvenile, all of Falls Creek, Pa., allowed the female actor into the home to use one of their cell phones. Within a few minutes after the female actor entered the residence, a silver sedan described as having a loud exhaust arrived, and the female got into the vehicle and left the scene.

Moments later, the 17-year-old male juvenile answered a knock at the door but didn’t see anyone outside. Before he could close the door, a Caucasian male forcefully entered the home and brandished a handgun, demanding two pounds of marijuana.

After the victims denied possessing marijuana, the male intruder fled the residence and ran down the street on foot before being picked up by the previously described silver sedan.

According to a release issued Thursday by DuBois-based State Police, 19-year-old Olexis Hartless, of DuBois, and a 17-year-old male from Commodore, Pa. have been arrested in connection with the incident.

State Police say the investigation will continue and an additional arrest is pending.
