MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 1:05 p.m. on December 23, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 68, at its intersection with Perkins Road, Monroe Township, Clarion County.
Police say 59-year-old David I. Ghaliah, of Clifton, NJ, and 24-year-old Constance M. Long, of New Bethlehem, were involved in the collision.
According to police, Ghaliah failed to stop at a red light. His 2013 Hyundai Elantra struck a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Long.
Following the impact, Ghaliah fled the crash scene, failing to exchange required information with Long.
Long was using a seat belt.
It is unknown if Ghaliah was using a seat belt.
No injuries were reported.
Ghaliah was charged with a traffic violation.
