Stolen Truck Goes Up in Flames in Richland Township

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a theft occurred on December 24, on De Ly Bro Road, in Richland Township, Venango County.

Police say sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on December 24, a known perpetrator(s) removed a 45-year-old man’s unlocked 2002 Ford F150 and abandoned it in a field after it caught on fire.

The perpetrator(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Sources say the truck was a total loss. The vehicle also contained Christmas presents which were destroyed in the fire.
