Teen Escapes Injury in One-Car Crash in Beaver Township

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 11:01 p.m. on December 26, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, at the 54 mile marker, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a 17-year-old Emlenton female was traveling west on I-80. Her 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier exited the north side of the roadway and impacted a guide rail.

The car came to a rest on top of the guide rail, police say.

The teen was using a seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
