Peggy A. Staub, 81, of 1 Sycamore St. Oil City, PA. died at 11:10 A.M. Saturday Jan. 3, 2015 after a brief illness.

Born March 19, 1933 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Rapp Sr. & Alma Foley Rapp.

Peggy was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She had worked at Northwest Heating and later was the manager of Crestview Apartments and then Luther Place in Oil City.

Peggy attended St. Stephen and St. Venantius Churches.

She was a member of the Pulaski Club, PNA, and a life member of the Pulaski Pussycats.

Peggy also enjoyed golfing and fishing.

She is survived by five children and their spouses: Paula Davis of CA, Lisa Lynch & her husband Martin of Centerville, John Staub of Oil City, Crystal Staub of Oil City, Tim Staub & his wife Dorothy of Oil City, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Peggy is survived by her sister Mary Marsh & her husband Howard of FL, a good friend Carolyn Greathouse of Oil City, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Kenneth Rapp, Daniel Rapp and Gary Rapp.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in St. Stephen’s Church with Fr. Matthew Ruyechan, Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
