Larry G. Baker

Larry G. Baker, age 82, went to be with our Lord on Christmas Day, 2014.

He was born in Franklin, Pa on April 22, 1932 to the late Ralph Baker and Valeria Walbourn Baker.

He was preceded in death by six brothers.

Larry leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Lois (Heffern) Baker, children; Mark (Gemma), Jeff (Joanne), Eric (Dona) Baker and daughter Melissa (John Miller); grandchildren; Donna (Mike) Boyd, Jeff Jr, Ryan and Natalie Baker, Kyle and Ashley Miller; one great-grandchild, Damon Boyd.

Larry served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was employed by the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co in Franklin for 32 years.

Upon moving to Florida, he worked at Florida Memorial Hospital in Ormond Beach retiring in 1997.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place on January 10th at 1:00 p.m at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1035 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach.

Burial, with military honors, will follow at a National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Larry’s family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
