SCRUBGRASS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say around 9:22 a.m. on January 8, a one-car accident occurred on Big Bend Road (State Route 3009), in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to police, Sharon K. Bowser, 72, of Rimersburg, was traveling on Big Bend Road and attempted to negotiate a slight curve in roadway.

She lost control of her 2010 Chrysler Sebring on the slippery road surface and traveled into a ditch.

She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Knox Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
