HICKORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say around 7:47 a.m. on January 8, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Route 666, in Hickory Township, Forest County.

According to police, this crash occurred when Cynthia L. Young, 39, of Tionesta, was traveling on Route 666 and lost control of her 2003 Dodge Durango on the snow-covered roadway.

The vehicle went off the south side of the roadway and struck an embankment with the front passenger side of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to roll onto its side.

Young was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

The State Police were assisted on the scene by Frye’s Towing.
