Police Release Details on Two-Vehicle Crash in Beaver Township

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80, at the 54.4 mile marker, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say 20-year-old Andrea M. Olson, of Erie, and 55-year-old Calvin E. Wallace, of Kylertown, were involved in the collision.

The crash occurred as a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Olson, passed a 1997 Peterbilt 379, driven by Wallace.

When the Hyundai re-entered the right lane, it slid, exited the roadway, and impacted a guide rail. The Hyundai then re-entered the roadway and impacted the Peterbilt, police say.

Both drivers were using seat belts, and no injuries were reported.

Olson was charged with a traffic violation.
