Mary Elizabeth Bosley, 93, of Rimersburg, died at 8 pm Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Clarion Hospital.

Born June 8, 1921 in Sligo, she was a daughter of the late Wilbert James and Minnie Olive Reese Confer.

Mrs. Bosley was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in New Athens.

She was married to John L. Bosley, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1983.

Surviving are two daughters, Judith Renninger of Rimersburg and Charlotte Moore and husband Frank of Sligo; 5 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Melvin Confer and wife Elizabeth; one sister, Violet O’Neil; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two children, Caroline Confer and William J. Renninger; one brothers, Wilbert E. Confer; and five sisters, Myrtle Uhlott, Florence Hartzell, Ethel Ausel, Dorothy Caldwell and Anna Mae Halter.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday with the Rev. Leonard Goughler, officiating.

Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to hospice, Clarion Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
