MARY SEELEYMary Eileen Seeley, 80 of Guys Mills, (Frenchtown), passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her residence after a period of declining health.

Born, October 28, 1934 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of William J. and Dorothy M. Weising Scully. She married Gaylord E. Seeley on November 5, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2007.

Mary was a 1953 graduate of Cochranton High School and worked in food service for the Penncrest School District for many years. She retired in 1996 as the cafeteria manager.

She was an active member of St. Hippolytes Catholic Church in Frenchtown and was a member of the Helping Hands Society.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, reading, her flower gardens, trips to the casino, and the yearly family reunion, but most of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, William E. (Ed) Seeley and his wife Kathy of Canton, Ohio, Kathleen Cowan and her husband Bob of Meadville, Patricia Ferry and her husband Steve of Meadville, Elizabeth Kebert of Hadley and Dorothy Dale and her husband Larry of Landenburg. Grandchildren, Chris (Megan) Seeley, Jen (Chris) Gordon, Erin Seeley, Lindsay Cowan, Derek Cowan, Hope (Stan) Koontz, Gabrielle (Matt) Pierce, Brianne (Joseph) Black, Kyle (Andrea) Kebert, Elyse (Travis) Palmer, Adam (Alysse) Dale, and Ashley (Daren) Scadlock. Great grandchildren, Kendra and Graham Seeley, Emma and Olivia Gordon, Layla, Julia, Alexa and Parker Koontz, Landon and Camden Pierce, Aden and Isaac Black, Sophia Kebert, Faith Dale, Grey Scadlock and “Baby” Palmer due in March. A sister in law, Charlsie Seeley and several nieces and nephews.

The family wish to thank caregivers and devoted friends Delores Mattis and Karen Yeager.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Jane Meehan and 5 brothers, William, John, Robert, Clarence and Raymond Scully.

Friends will be received at the Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc., 123 S. Franklin St. Cochranton on Friday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 9:00pm.

A Scripture Prayer service will be 8:45pm at the funeral home on Friday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday at St. Hippolytes Catholic Church, with the Rev. Daniel Prez as Celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
