9601ced65bdd3bbd[1]Margaret E. “Peg” Aul, 89, of Houston, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born February 7, 1925, in Clarington, Pa. a daughter of Wade and Emma Kahle.

Mrs. Aul was a graduate of Sigel High School in Sigel, PA.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston.

Mrs. Aul loved bowling, tole painting, making beaded jewelry, crocheting and playing bridge.

Surviving are: two sons, Kenneth C. Aul of Washington and Samuel N. Aul and his wife Zina of Palmetto, FL; her daughter-in-law Debbie Stratton and her husband Steve; three grandchildren, Samuel C. Aul (Becky), Melissa Kaplan (Rahim) and Roberta J. Weiss (Christopher); and seven great grandchildren, Henry, Peter and Genevieve Aul, Jackson and Scarlett Kaplan and Emily and Augusta Weiss.

Deceased are: a son Richard Aul; two sisters, Elmerdeen Glosser and Lois Gross; a brother, Neil Kahle; and a step brother, John Kahle.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, January 17, 2015, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342.

Additional visitation and services will be held 1 to 2 p.m., the time of service, Sunday January 18, 2015, in the McDonald Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA 16239.
