JRossJeremiah “J.R.” Ross, 32, of West Alexander (formerly of Franklin), passed away unexpectedly at 8:14 p.m. on Monday, January 19th, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

J.R. was born November 26, 1982 in Brookville. He was a 2002 graduate of Franklin High School and worked as a fueling foreman on oil rigs for Zappy’s. J.R. was known for his loving and thoughtful personality and his sense of humor and loyalty. ” HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED” by all who knew him.

J.R. is survived by his parents, Marvin Gale Wilson and Cindy Wilson. He is also survived by his brothers, Dale Pittman and his wife, Kelly, of Alliance, Ohio, Tim Brandon of Franklin, Matt McMahon and his wife, Rachelle, of Ravenna, Ohio, Elijah McCright and his wife, Ann Marie, of Brookville, Joshua Walters of Washington, Mark Cromie of Alliance, Ohio, Aaron Foster of Hermitage, Adam Vandorp and his wife, Alicia, of Butler, and Randell Wilson, Romeo Cooley and A.J. Cooley, all of Franklin. His is also survived by his sister, Jennifer Wilson of Alliance, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews, Heidi, Christian, Jaclyn, Tyler, Liam and Louella.

J.R. was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Saturday, January 24th from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Visitation will conclude at 12:30 p.m. with a few words by the family.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
