PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say two local women were injured in a Wednesday evening crash in Paint Township.

Clarion-based State Police say the accident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Route 322 near Fiberboard Road.

According to police, Tracy E. Moon, 42, of Marienville, was traveling west on Route 322 when she failed to see a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was stopped in traffic.

Moon’s 2010 Toyota Corolla subsequently struck the rear of the Trailblazer, operated by Michelle Hoovler, 40, of Oil City.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.

Moon was cited with Careless Driving.
